Building Bridges Biathlon

The next scheduled BB Biathlon is 5/30/09 at 9:00 AM on Kessler Frederick Rd. near West Milton. In our Biathlon, an adult teams with one of the BB youth. One part of the team runs 1 lap (3.4 miles) and tags their team member, who bikes 3 laps (10.3 miles). The start is staggered, starting the slower racers first so faster runners and bikers have the challenge of catching and passing the early starters. After the race, plaques are awarded to the top three teams (youth participants only) in the actual category and adjusted category. In addition, all participants are given a ribbon with their time on it. We then will proceed to the park for food and games. At the last Biathlon on 4/18/09, we went to the Christian Life Center, and would like to thank the Church for their hospitality. The cost of each Biathlon is runs between $350 to $400. We are looking for SPONSORS for this Biathlon.
