Tutoring
Tutoring is an excellent way for volunteers interested in committing two hours a week to become familiar with Building Bridges. The tutoring sites are all supervised by staff so new volunteers can readily ask for help. We need people who can work one-on-one with a child, help with homework and remedial
lessons. You do not need to be a professional teacher or counselor, you just need to have patience, compassion and words of encouragement.
